Margate-The Margate Community Farm Market is back for another successful summer.

Staked out in the parking lot behind Steve and Cookies by the Bay at 9700 Amherst Avenue in

Margate, the market brings local farmers with fresh fruit and vegetables just picked from their farms,

fresh flowers and plants, great seafood and freshly made jellies, baked goods, coffee and bread.

The market also has a student contingent each week that brings to the market vegetalbes grown

in the organic garden at the Eugene A. Tighe Middle School.

Jersey Fresh is more than just a campaign slogan at the farmers market.  The New Jersey

Department of  Agriculture celebrated the second season of the farmers market with a visit from

Ron good.
